MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS ARENA
The M.E.N. Arena has been the largest indoor arena in Europe since opening in 1995. It follows the traditionally American arena layout of 360 degree seating affording great views of the performers from all areas. The MEN Arena has attracted 15 million customers since it opened. The seating capacity is one of Europe's most dynamic in terms of variation and it is often a venue of choice for major touring acts because the arena's size and layout makes the venue ideal for any type of performance.

PALACE THEATRE
The Palace Theatre Manchester is one of the main theatres in Manchester. It has a capacity of just under 2000 and it is now one of the best equipped and popular theatres outside London. It hosts major touring musicals, often with major celebrities, and performances of opera and ballet along with various other comedy acts and one night concerts.

OPERA HOUSE
The Opera House is a 2000 seat commercial touring theatre. Productions at the Opera House include touring musicals, ballet, concerts and Christmas pantomimes. The Opera House is a typical Victorian theatre in style and it is noted for hosting some long running regional productions such as Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical The Phantom of the Opera which ran from 1993 to 1995.

THE LOWRY
The Lowry is a combined theatre and gallery complex dedicated to L.S. Lowry situated in Salford Quays. Inside are two theatres, the Lyric and the Quays, coloured purple and red respectively, which host a wide range of touring plays, comedians and musicians; the Lowry also hosts the Opera North series of operas. It is said that the Lyric theatre has the largest stage in the UK outside London's West End. It is located close to the Imperial War Museum North and the Old Trafford football stadium. It is served by the Harbour City stop on the Metrolink tram network.

MANCHESTER APOLLO
The Manchester Apollo is a concert venue in Manchester. Locally known as 'The Apollo', it is a listed building with a standing capacity of 3,500 (2514 standing, 986 seats). Split into two levels, the upstairs contains permanently fitted seating, whereas the larger downstairs can be altered to suit the event; both levels view a single concert stage. The Apollo hosts a large number of primarily popular music based concerts and other events throughout the year. It has a raked floor giving an excellent view of the stage from anywhere in the auditorium.
